Sadly, there was nothing that could be done. According to them, the girl had been dead for several hours before they arrived at her home.\n\n\n\n</p><p>The devastated mother said the family didn\u2019t have any answers of the cause of death. Speaking to&nbsp;<a href="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk%5C/news%5C/greater-manchester-news%5C/i-woke-up-next-five-29412965%5C%22" target='\"_blank\"' rel='\"noreferrer' noopener><em>Manchester Evening News, Rachel shared, \u201cI woke up and she was dead next to me. I rang for an ambulance but she had been dead a few hours.\n\n\n\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image\"'><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/boreddaddy.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2024%5C/12%5C/1_po_tem_270624lila.jpg?ezimgfmt=rs:363x242%5C/rscb1%5C/ng:webp%5C/ngcb1%5C%22" alt='\"\"' class='\"wp-image-69096\"\/'><figcaption class='\"wp-element-caption\"'>Family handout\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey gave her CPR; they arrived within minutes but it was already too late. It\u2019s horrendous. I still can\u2019t believe it\u2019s happened.\n\n\n\n</p><p>She was kind to everyone; I would take her to school and pick her up and she would be hugging all the teachers. It would take her 30 minutes to leave.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><h2 class='\"wp-block-heading\"'>Lila attended Flowery Field Primary School&nbsp;in Hyde.\n\n\n\n</h2><p>She was described as \u201cthe nicest child ever.\u201d According to her mom, Lila had a lot of friends and was known for her bright red hair and her bubbly personality.\n\n\n\n</p><p>Because we don\u2019t know what she\u2019s died of, I don\u2019t feel like we can even grieve properly at the moment. We haven\u2019t even been given answers on how she\u2019s died,\u201d Rachel told&nbsp;<em>Manchester Evening News.\n\n\n\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image\"'><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/boreddaddy.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2024%5C/12%5C/1_po_tem_270624lila_02-459x1024.jpg?ezimgfmt=rs:363x810%5C/rscb1%5C/ng:webp%5C/ngcb1%5C%22" alt='\"\"' class='\"wp-image-69097\"\/'><figcaption class='\"wp-element-caption\"'>Family handout\n\n\n\n<p>Lila\u2019s funeral was held a month after her sudden passing, with everyone from her primary school in attendance.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cIt was a nice send off for her,\u201d Rachael said. \u201cWe had a horse and carriage. The church was absolutely packed; all the school attended. It was the perfect day for her.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>Tragically, Lila died on December 28, 2023. In October of 2024, an inquest into Lila\u2019s death has now opened at Stockport Coroners Court, with troubling details emerging at a pre-inquest review hearing,\u00a0<em>Manchester Evening News\u00a0reported.\n\n\n\n<h2 class='\"wp-block-heading\"'>It emerged that the original copies of Lila\u2019s medical notes in the weeks leading up to her death had been \u2018misplaced.\u2019\n\n\n\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image\"'><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/boreddaddy.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2024%5C/12%5C/1_po_tem_270624lila_04-764x1024.jpg?ezimgfmt=rs:363x487%5C/rscb1%5C/ng:webp%5C/ngcb1%5C%22" alt='\"\"' class='\"wp-image-69098\"\/'><figcaption class='\"wp-element-caption\"'>Family handout\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe court heard that there appeared to be no entry on records provided to the court for an assessment at 18.35 on October 8 2023.
