Later, another body, believed to be of a 30-year-old man, was found under the debris of the three houses destroyed on Violet Close in Benwell.\n\n\n\n</p><p>Six other people have been rushed to the hospital, and it is believed that there are no people missing. The rest of the residents have been staying with friends and relatives.\n\n\n\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image\"'><a href="%5C%22data:image%5C/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=%22http:%5C/%5C/www.w3.org%5C/2000%5C/svg%22%20width=%221024%22%20height=%22640%22%3E%3C%5C/svg%3E%5C%22"><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/boreddaddy.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2024%5C/10%5C/resize-1-1024x640.jpg?ezimgfmt=rs:664x415%5C/rscb1%5C/ngcb1%5C/notWebP%5C%22" alt='\"\"' class='\"wp-image-67859\"\/'><figcaption class='\"wp-element-caption\"'><a href="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/www.ladbible.com%5C/news%5C/uk-news%5C/newcastle-explosion-boy-named-second-body-850147-20241017%5C%22">The explosion occurred at Violet Close, Benwell (PA)\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is with great sadness that I stand in front of you today following the tragic death of a young child,\u201d Superintendent Darren Adams&nbsp;<a href="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/www.ladbible.com%5C/news%5C/uk-news%5C/newcastle-explosion-boy-named-second-body-850147-20241017%5C%22">said&nbsp;from the scene. \u201cAs a result of the incident in the early hours of this morning, a seven-year-old boy has sadly passed away.\n\n\n\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image\"'><a href="%5C%22data:image%5C/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=%22http:%5C/%5C/www.w3.org%5C/2000%5C/svg%22%20width=%22810%22%20height=%22539%22%3E%3C%5C/svg%3E%5C%22"><img decoding='\"async\"' src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/boreddaddy.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2024%5C/10%5C/1_MAP_CHP_171024Archie_27121Archie.jpg?ezimgfmt=rs:664x442%5C/rscb1%5C/ng:webp%5C/ngcb1%5C%22" alt='\"\"' class='\"wp-image-67860\"\/'><figcaption class='\"wp-element-caption\"'>&nbsp;Abbie Lauren\/Facebook\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDespite the efforts of the emergency services, he tragically died at the scene.\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cThis is a truly devastating outcome.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cI have no doubt that the people of Elswick and Benwell, and our wider region, will want to join me in extending their thoughts and condolences to family and friends. The loss and pain they must be suffering is unimaginable.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>The family of the seven-year-old who lost his life are paying tributes, describing him as \u201ca lovely lad.\u201d\n\n\n\n</p><p>\u201cArchie was my nephew and the most beautiful, funny, and caring little boy and his name deserves to be shouted from the rooftops!
