Verdict Reached in Case of Aliccia Grant’s Passing at Home Depot Parking Lot

A tragic case that shook north Phoenix has reached its conclusion. Stephen Dennis, 36, was sentenced on August 18, 2025, to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his wife, Aliccia Grant, 37.

The incident occurred in September 2024 in a Home Depot parking lot, where Grant, found critically injured, identified her husband as responsible before passing. Dennis later confessed and was arrested. Aliccia, a respected makeup artist known as Glamazon Makeup, had over 17 years of experience and was recognized internationally for her work.

She was also a devoted mother of two. A GoFundMe campaign in her memory has raised over \$44,000 to support her children. Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell called the case “an act of betrayal,” while family and friends remember Aliccia for her kindness, talent, and the joy she brought to others.
