DHS Tightens Rules For Visiting Lawmakers At ICE Facilities After Dem Antics

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is turning up the heat on Democrats, accusing them of turning a blind eye to the ongoing border crisis and putting American families at risk.

In a recent interview, Noem criticized the Biden administration’s handling of immigration, stating:

“We have lawlessness at the border, and Democrats continue to pretend everything is under control. I’ve had enough. America deserves better than this.”

Noem pointed to rising fentanyl deaths, human trafficking, and overwhelmed local communities as evidence of failed Democratic leadership. She also highlighted South Dakota’s efforts to support border states like Texas by sending National Guard troops and resources.

“If the federal government won’t do its job, then governors like me will step up,” she added.

Her comments come amid growing frustration among Republican leaders who say the White House is prioritizing politics over public safety.
